The Lulo

What is Lulo…? It’s an exotic fruit which grows on a bush on the slopes of the Andes. Its Colombian name comes from “ruru”, the Quecha word for fruit. It tastes like kiwi or gooseberry and looks like a green tomato inside. The peel ripens to bright orange, giving it the name Naranjilla (little orange) in Ecuador.
